French Maison Berluti was founded before one hundred thirty years by the Italian
shoemaker Alessandro Berluti. Since then, his lace up shoe, well known as
“Alessandro”, has become synonymous to the Maison.
Berluti has been developed by the next generations offering Bespoke Shoemaking,
Patina leather goods, Ready-to-wear collections, Bespoke tailoring, but it has kept
the same characteristics: offbeat classicism and technical virtuosity.
The bespoke shoemaking is the epitome of Berluti: fifty hours of work and many
specialists for making one pair of bespoke shoes.
In 1980’s Olga Berluti revolutionized the world of leather goods introducing Patina
on Venezia Leather and creating insuperable leather masterpieces.
Today Berluti is synonymous with creative craftsmanship, supereme quality and
savoir-fair.
